Fresh caribou backstrap with sauteed mushrooms! It was pretty good. I got it all cut up and in the freezer and a bunch taken down to have pepperoni made up.


Ahhhh, the state fair! All I can say is that was an experience!

This was like the amateur stage. There were the most random people performing dances and what not. Imagine the worst performances ever....EVER!

Just munchin on some Kettle Corn and people watching! We had a good spot.

Today we went for a hike, more like a death march. Not sure how far we went but I do know that the trail gained a 1000 feet of elevation over a mile for three miles. No switch backs, just straight up.

It was really foggy and we climbed quite a ways and turned back. Once we were about half way down the fog began to break and if we'd have kept going, we would have had some incredible views.
