I headed out for a run this morning but hardly made it out of our driveway on my feet. Overnight the roads all froze and Anchorage became one large ice rink. I headed back inside bumbed that I couldn't go for a run. Walking back in to the house I suddenly remembered a wedding present we received from my brother. YAKTRAX's!! After slipping them on and testing them in the driveway I headed out on my run. It was amazing!! These funny looking things are the best invention and are now essential for me to make it through the winter. I could hardly tell I had them on and I felt so comfortable in them I could have ran on an ice skating rink... which I pretty much did.
