Rose and I went skiing a couple weeks ago and just haven't put anything up on the blog about it. The ski resort is called Alyeska and is only about 45 minutes from the house. It's not a big mountain but fairly steep in most places. It was a nice day but really cold. There is a main lodge at the base of the mountain and another lodge near the top. There is a place to get food and drinks plus a separate "fine dining" restaraunt and bar. You can take a tram up from the bottom if you just want to go up at check it out or eat. Anyway, here's some pictures from the trip.
I just love those crisp, clear days in Anchorage!
