Vacation!!

Well I got back home about 2 weeks ago and have been trying to get a post up. Finally, I had a couple minutes to finish it and get it posted. I had an amazing trip and it was hard coming home. I loved hanging out with my nieces and nephews, I can never get enough slobbery, snotty kisses from Emma or chasing the boys around the house playing swords. I visited Hong Kong and Shanghai and spent a week at my sisters house. While there I read and entire book and probably got about 10 hours of sleep a night... and ate WAY too much good food!! It was AWESOME! Here are a couple pictures to recap my trip. ( The formatting is a little strange, it will not let me change it. I hope it is still readable)

Busy streets of Hong Kong. Riley and I were watching Bizarre Foods on TV the night before I left and it was all about this area. It wasn't 48 hours later that I was in the same area!

With Jacob on The Peak. It is one of the most touristy places in Hong Kong, we took the tram up and waited until it got dark to see the lights. It over looks all of Hong Kong, although it was pretty cloudy when we were up there. The next morning I took the subway from our hotel to the bottom of the hill and ran/walked my way up. It was awesome!! There were a lot of different places to stop and see the view on the way up and a pretty intense climb!

At the airport, it was definitely different traveling with three kids under the age of 4. I am use to traveling by myself. It was an adventure and so thankful I could rely on someone else to figure out what was going on. ;) Thank you!! With flights being changed, missing a ticket, gates changing, taxi communication.... everything!

Keeping Josiah entertained on our LONG walk across the airport. I think we walked over a mile getting to our gate at one airport!

Meet Jacob, he let me read and attempt to sing with him... haha he knew the hand motions better than I did though.

Meet Josiah! This is the only picture I think he let me take with him, he is always on the move trying to find the next thing he can get in to or climb on. :)

While I was there, Kelly went and had some pillows made at the market in her city. You can get this done for pretty cheap, the tough part is finding great fabric. She actually ordered fabric online and had it sent to my house to bring over there with me. It costs less than $5 a pillow to get them made.

Feeding turtles and fish, animal crackers at a park in Shanghai.

While in Shanghai I spent a morning trying to find the Jade Market. I ended up getting lost and instead found this huge outdoor market. They were selling everything but mostly fresh produce and meat. You haven't smelled anything until you are next to one of the meat sections ;) haha YUM!

Meet Emma, She give great slobbery kisses!

The last day of the trip we were going through all of our pictures from the last two weeks.

Almost every night I went for walks on the board walk. Even at night it was really pretty with all the lights.

On a ferry in Hong Kong coming back from the beach.

We spent some time at the beach in HK.

Craft time, I did finger paints with them one of the days. Ahh this is the life! I could do this everyday!

Playing swords with brushed, it is the 'girls' version of swords.
