One of a kind Christmas

Christmas this year was a little more unconventional than we would have liked.  I worked Christmas Eve, and then had to be back to work midnight Christmas evening.  Riley had to work 8-8 Christmas.

We were still able to make the best of it though.  Riley got up early Christmas morning and made a big breakfast before he left for work.  Then around noon I headed over to the hospital to visit him and eat a late lunch. I brought my laptop and rented a couple movies.  It worked out well as Riley didn't have any patients in the afternoon so we were able to eat food from the cafeteria and watch a movie.  I will tell you, the food was pretty bad. It brought me back to middle school lunch days. :)  We definitely wished we were home with family joining in on the delicious food and great company.
