My Mom's Visit

While Riley was gone on his hunting trip my Mom came up to visit for about a week and a half.  I was able to take a couple days off and on the days I had to work she was able to take my car and do some sight seeing on her own.  Here are a couple pictures from when she was here.

One of her first days here we hiked a very popular mountain that looks over Anchorage.  I have admit it was pretty humorous watching her maneuver her way up.  I kind of forgot how steep it is towards the end and you actually have to climb up the last part.  As seen in the last picture.  As we watched all these old people pass right by us.... she FINALLY made it to the top!  ;) Haha Mom just kidding you did great!

During the time she was here, we had some of the best weather of the summer!  It was sunny almost everyday and we even hit 70 degrees one day!

We went camping in Seward and had the most beautiful weather!  Cheked out a glacier on the way down.

We went to a small town about 45 minutes south of Anchorage called Whittier.

When Riley got back we headed down to Homer and
on the way stopped to do a little fishing.

It is always so nice to have family come up and visit!  It is fun to show off all the places and things we do up here and share them with more people than just the two of us.  Thank you so much Mom for coming up!!
