Ok Kelly I got the hint... I need to do a post. :)

It has been about 2 months since we actually did a post and updated everyone on what is going on up here. August, September and now October have been pretty full of a lot of Alaska type stuff but just haven't really sat down to write about it.

There was my Mom's trip up here. A couple more weekend fishing trips. Riley's day trips bear hunting. Our 14 hour drive up to the North Slope to go Caribou hunting. Riley's 4th job, me taking on another position for a short while.

I guess a lot has happened in he last couple months and more importantly some great pictures I want to share.

It is already getting pretty cold and we are expecting to see snow in the next 1-2 weeks. Once it snows it doesn't leave for about 5 months... OH JOY! ;) Riley cleaned our camping and fishing gear out of the garage this weekend so I am back to parking in the garage. Parking in the garage is one of the biggest luxury's you can have in Alaska. Riley is so unselfish he lets me have it all winter ;)

Riley and I are leaving to go Caribou hunting on our second attempt at a caribou next week. We are going to take the long drive up to the North Slope again and see if I can't get myself something besides a ptarmigan. (More to come on our last trip).

I am so proud of Riley! He got another job last week and now has 4 part-time jobs. He is working like crazy and we are so happy that each job is able to work around the others. It all seems to just work out so well!

One of my peers moved back down to Washington right before 4th quarter started. Unfortunately they can't find a replacement for him before black Friday. So I took on his workcenter through 4th quarter. So I have been busy with all the 4th quarter planning and getting ramped up for the busiest time of the year. ;) Bring on the shoppers! My job is going great though, I really enjoy working for Target and I get excited for 4th quarter!

We also bought our plane tickets to come home in January. I believe the dates are Jan. 12-22 we are really looking forward to spending a good 10 days home with family, we can't wait to see everyone!
