Spring is out there somewhere...

I pulled up our blog this morning and realized how long it's been.

February and March were really busy for both of us.  Riley was picking up a lot of extra shifts at work and I was feverishly prepping for interviews and back to back corporate visits.  Being the middle of winter, we were both thankful work was busy now and not in the middle of the summer.

April, was a great month! I heard the news I passed my interviews and received my pay raise, Riley's article was published in Eastmans Bow Hunting Journal, we took a week off to go to Hawaii and Riley got back to a normal work schedule and we are planning a trip to Europe at the end of October.  We also celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary.

As we head in to May we were looking forward to some spring weather and no more snow.  As I sit in a coffee shop in town I have been watching snow falling for the last 2 hours.   We just about had the 3 or so feet of snow in our yard melted.  Each time it snows I think it will be the last, but yet here we are again...

We took a drive down south on Tuesday (we both have Tuesdays off together each week) to look for some bears.  We saw one grizzly but no black bears.  A lot of the snow had somewhat melted and he is going to try to get out hunting over the next couple weeks for spring bear.  I think I will probably stay behind for these trips though.  Our friends in our previous post, Dan, will probably be going with Riley to try his hand at bear hunting.

We don't have any new pictures but I will try to post something soon.  I think we are going to try to go hiking tomorrow or at least get out somewhere.
