We did get out and go for a hike today. We planned on doing a hike we haven't done for a couple years. However, when we got to the trail head there were about 20 cars in the parking lot. So we headed back to Falls Creek, which is a great hike but one we have done multiple times. It was really warm today, it got up to 50 degrees! We even went for a walk after dinner tonight just for the fact we could!
We stopped and ate lunch on a huge snow drift. We were plowing our way up for most of the trip.
We saw one black bear, Riley took a picture with his phone looking through his spotting scope. It was too close to the road and way on the other side of the valley to be legal though.
I went for a 12 miler yesterday and as you can see there is still plenty of snow left on the trails near town.
