So we arrived last night at Fort Nelson in Northern BC at about 8:00 pm. Not much of a place, pretty small and desolate. Oh and really really dry and dusty. It looks like this town survives on the oil and gas industry, lot's of trucks from the oil/gas fields.
We Saw three moose yesterday and three different black bears, two of which had cubs. One Sow had three cubs that were smaller than house cats. The others were yearling cubs.
We're about half-way through our trip and making ok time, yesterday had lots of stops. Gas in Canada is 1.10- 1.20 a liter, over 4.00 a gallon! We've gotta get out of Canada.
We had problems with the blog last night and couldn't post anything. So looks like it's working now.

We're going to hit Whitehorse today and would like to get further. If we stop at Whitehorse that will make for a very very long last day.
