We finally got here yesterday at about 1pm. We drove most of the night and finally pulled over and slept for a while and then pushed on. It was a pretty decent drive, lot's of wildlife. The road was good all the way to Haines Junction and then it turned to crap. The frost heaves made the road hard to drive on and we made horrible time. The road was just torn up and lots of abrupt ups and downs.
We looked for a place to live last night and didn't come up with much of anything, there isn't much available and there's a lot of garbage. We'll be looking all day today so hopefully we'll get something soon. We both start work on Monday and it would be nice if we had something by then.
