Well Rose and I got into our new place yesterday, FINALLY! We couldn't move in Monday night cause the carpets were still really wet. We got in last night but didn't get much done. We got our new couch and put together a bunch of our IKEA furniture. There's still a lot to do and we're constantly finding things we need because neither of us really had much to begin with. All those little things add up. It seems like we're basically starting out from scratch.
We both started work Monday, well Rose started at midnight on Sunday. She's been working really long graveyard hours. So it's been tough for us to see eachother and to get things done. I had my first real day of work today, Monday and Tuesday were orientation days. It was a good day, lot's of nice people and a great work environment, very relaxed.
I'm working on getting ready to go fishing and acquiring gear. The season for reds (sockeyes) opens on the Russian River on June 11th. Everyone says it's just nuts and can be a lot of fun. My goal is to go down on a week day maybe with Rose and see if we can't catch a few.
Things are finally starting to settle down I think and hopefully we'll get out real soon to enjoy some time in the outdoors.
